Meet Hiten

Hiten Patel began his career in development in 1986 when his parents bought their first hotel in Chattanooga, Tennessee. As a young teenager, Hiten spent much of his free time helping his parents with guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance. Later, while pursuing a degree in chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Hiten oversaw the construction of his first project - a Motel 6 in downtown Chattanooga. After graduating from college in 2001, Hiten moved to Nashville to join Aventis Pharmaceuticals, where he was quickly promoted to Quality Systems Supervisor.

Discovering that his true passion was in development, Hiten moved back to Chattanooga in 2008 and became the Senior Vice President of Development & Construction at Vision Hospitality Group, LLC. During his career, Hiten has overseen the design and construction of over 40 hotels, storage facilities and community centers.
